As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Lou works to provide comprehensive financial strategies for clients to help them maintain a lifestyle of independence and dignity throughout retirement and focuses on qualified plans for small business owners.  Lou holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Michigan University and studied at the AmericanCollege for his CFP® certification.  Lou sits on the finance committee for Clarkston Summer Camp (SCAMP).  SCAMP is a non-profit organization that offers summer camps for mentally, emotionally and physically challenged youth children.  Lou started his career with Dean Witter which evolved into Morgan Stanley.  Mr. Melone also worked at Smith Barney before forming Budd, Melone & Co., LLC with Co-Founder Joe Budd.  Joe and Lou have worked together for the duration of their careers in the financial services industry.
